FAA Registration Question

So I registered my Phantom4, and I have a Registration number....what about the tail number?

I reserved one and would like to use that one. Help?

No tail number is required for recreational use.

Not likely an 'N' number was assigned to a hobby/recreational flyer for a DJI Phantom.

Is this the type of number you got along with registering? I don't know if it's a REGULATION or not, but I think having your reg # on the craft is recommended.

There is a conflation of a registration. number and a 'reserved tail number'.

Yes your registration number must be affixed to your UAS but you cannot reserve one so there is a conflation.
