Anyone know of a list of Rules for drones in the U.S?
Nevermind the registration, the 400 feet, LoS, etc but some things I have only learned from other pilots. But is there an official list of Rules book for what s not permitted when flying a hobby drone?

It will also be on the back of the registry card received from FAA when you get a registration and tail #.

Yes, the handbook has some good information, but it promotes drone-registration.net for registrations where it will cost you $60 for a commercial and $27 and up for hobby/recreation registrations. The FAA changes only $5.

A licence from somebody for more than $5 is just somebody who wants to take advantage of the new drone market. The FAA on the other hand has been around for awhile. If I can get authorization to fly my drone from a known federal aviation office I'd say that would be legal in ANY state. If not then the FAA.gov website will tell you how to make it ok in your state.
