Experience with the new compass?

Ordered the new compass when it came out and now it got shipped, should have it any day.
Tried a search but compass was to common as term so if it's covered already sorry for double post.

So how did it work out on the standard P2V+ if any one tried it yet, any noticeable difference better/worse/same?

I installed it. Other than a nicer fit and finish, it seems to perform the same as the old one.

There's not much different that a compass can do.
Hmm this new one has an antistatic cover !!
But has anyone had any compass problem caused by static?
Maybe the new compass sensors come from a new or cheaper production run at the factory and while DJI was promoting the new motors and ESCs they added the compass to the menu.
Short of finally shielding the GPS like we've all done for ourselves, I haven't heard anyone reporting any significant for the new improved Phantom and I think the compass is making the smallest contribution.

yea, I have compared the old one and new one, the antistatic work perfectly, the old one is very sensitif with metal things.
