I have a couple quads - never got into FPV, but REALLY want to and the fc40 is a nice segway, but the camera and wifi extender are a good option - not a great option if i start using my gopro. So - I have a nice setup suggested by another member with the

Boscam TX and RX units as well as with the monitor http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IUGW5Y0/ref ... B00IWKK21W

But of course, as a newb I get lost in pins, connectors, cords and putting a lipo to the monitor and RX unit.

Am i the only one? Is there a "hey stupid manual" for getting decent fpv for videography flights? I'm not looking to go two towns away. I want 300-500yards for some good fun flying and be able to fly around the outside of my house and view something on a tablet, monitor, etc...

Sigh - I am soooo lost. Any help or guides to get there faster would be much appreciated. Happy to buy and experiment. About to buy the stuff on the links above but i KNOW they will take some finesse to make work. Anything else more plug and play for the 2.4ghz guys like me on the fc40?

Here's more "non-help" for you.
I've been asking a similar question for some time.
The difference is I do want to fly two towns away, not that there are any towns where I fly.

I don't get what contributors are saying. I get lost in all the mumbo jumbo as well.

I've searched and haven't found one but I will create a "hey stupid manual" page on my site if we can get straight-forward answers to our questions.

I think dirkclod is right. What we want is a more functional bird.

looks like i need this wire as well http://www.banggood.com/Gopro3-Video-AV ... 89638.html

Guess I will just start ordering stuff and hoping. Really pissed off taht the Walkera 2d White plastic gimbal i ordered thru dealextreme still has not come. ORder placed on 10/5. Started the Paypal order resolution process and may just try to find it elsewhere so I can get it wired, working and enjoy some fall flying without shaky video editing!! :)

BTW - yes i have also posted some stuff on the FC40 and the FPV sites - just seems very little response or a good solid FAQ sticky on the subject. Guess I could have gotten the p2v, but wanted some of this to also be a DIY hobby and get some experience in how these little quads go together. I'll get there.
