ESC replacement/upgrade

Hi!
I've recently crashed my phantom on a swamp and burned out 2 of 4 ESC.. I am wondering if I can go into other than DJI ESC (Hobbywing, Turnigy) because I can get 4 of them in a price of two DJI's

From what I understand the DJI ESCs are optimized for the NAZA. In addition the DJI ESCs for the phantom include the red and green orientation LEDs.

You CAN get different ESCs but in my experience it is best to make them all match.
