After reading the threads on Phantom 2 Vision + V3.0's falling out of the sky, I ordered four new ESC's. (Also got some 18 gauge wiring for the motors).

I bought them on Amazon. The ad title reads "V2.1". The text of the ad says V2.1. The boxes say V2.0. The little sheets that come with them mentions V2.0, but not V2.1. The white labels on the boards read V2.1. There's also DJI stickers on the boards. The big black capacitors have no color marks at all.

Would you be confident that these are V2.1 ESC's? I don't know if DJI goes to the trouble of updating printed things like boxes and info sheets when they make changes. I don't want to spend hours replacing all this only to learn the hard way they're not V2.1.

Thanks for the replies. With so many fake parts out there, it seems like a crap shoot whether you're going to get the real thing or not, unless you pay top dollar.

How come there aren't thousands of fake Chevrolets on the road? ;)
