Error: Please connect AC to RC

I have updated the RC on a P4pro+. When I turn on the RC and AC, a message says please connect AC to RC for update either ignore or update. I tried connecting the RC to AC with cable and hitting update, nothing happens. I have shut down both and restarted and I still get the same error. Any ideas?

Have you tried re-linking aircraft to controller? See this thread New Firmware V01.04.0602
