Erratic flying wih P2 no control

Hi, my first post..learning to fly my Phantom2.

Software updated, compas calibration ok, GPS green lights slow flashing, no powercables close, no big buildings... both S2 and S1 in up position, but my "bird" is flying very erratic and after a less in a minute it just fly away and I have to stop the motors! Bang.. Is it me or the Phantom or both? I have tested many times in different locatinos... nothing works ..

Some additional questions.

When you did the software updates, did you use BOTH assistants, Phantom 2 and RC Controller?
Did you follow the update instructions to use the two assistants?
Did you run it without the pros to see if the motors are balanced?
Have you checked the balance of the props?
(Balancing the P2 props may require purchasing an addional shaft for you balancer)

You get the two sets of flashing greens?
You perform both rotations when calibrating compass?
