Enlarged no fly zones over Northeast

Ever since the popes visit last week there have been enlarged no fly zones covering much of the tri state NYC area including Philly. Just checked today and they are still there. What gives?

On a side note just hit 1.5 million feet in 150 flights.

I would not expect them to be removed as fast as they were added.

The new 1.4 firmware is what added the additional no fly zones over stadiums and some other areas. It has nothing to do with the pope visit but the person who irresponsibly crashed a 3DR solo into stadium seating in the middle of a tennis match. This got a lot of bad publicity and of course over dramatized sen sensationalism from the media. Roll back to Firmware 1.3 or 1.1.9 if you don't want those restrictions. Also you can no longer go the higher than 500M RTH trick on the new firmware either.

The United Nations General Assembly has been in session and with all the diplomats arriving and departing that may be a reason.

This is not in firmware but in the hover app. Just means I have to drive out of the way to fly, hoping it's not a permanent feature
