Any endurance limits on the bird running non-stop only landing long enough to change batteries?
tbh.. I don't think anyone has the balls to try and also everyone's test would show different results. ~23mins+ would be good. But that varies as well based on style of flight.
I flew two batteries back to back all the time with no issues...have a third battery now and will be doing the same with all three.
I've done four in a row, coming back in each time at the first stage alarm. No issues. Not too far away, 100m max, practising yawing turns to perfect the point-of-interest filming while turning.
I've done four in a row also...all full battery runs far out over water near Annapolis on a warm day. No problems.
All stock batteries?
Yes all stock batteries.
There is a DJI video online where they endurance test an S1000. They tether it inside, have a cable plugged into the battery port supplying power, and they let it run for 72 hours straight! I don't anticipate running a Phantom all out to be problematic unless you are in an extremely hot environment.
I've done five in a row many times, usually down to 30% but sometimes to 10% with no problems. Most times I will fly until I am out of batteries if I have taken the time to go to a new location, all stock batteries.
