Emergency cutoff??

Using CSC to shut down motors on landed AC is not in the manual
Actually it is.
#8 in Takeoff/Landing Procedures says ... After landing execute the CSC command or hold the throttle at its lowest position until the motors stop.
The DJI manuals have many examples of poor communication and bad wording.

Sorry, but DJI changed it:

They improved their manual at least October last year from what I have archived.

My quote was from the latest v1.8 and your older version has the same text.
It still says After landing execute the CSC command or hold the throttle at its lowest position until the motors stop.

Method NUMBER ONE BABY!!
All others just and will spin the drone out of control.

I bought P3 in December last year so only manuals and video tutorials were from that date. I mostly used data from official video instructions from DJI for beginners and until I saw tipover posts later on this forum I wasn't even aware that CSC was an option for stoping the motors after regular landing. Seeing it still in newest text manuals as Method 1 makes me question DJI's sanity.

Yes, my bad , you are absolutely right, I should have compared really side by side on screen.
They are not coherent. They say one thing (the right one IMO) as start / stop the motors procedure and they don't use it in their Flight Test, brillant. Then I get why I was so confused about that and some of scary stop of motors in windy conditions.

Sorry for the confusion.
