easy wifi booster

Anybody using a simple easy to use wifi booster that is not to expensive that gives ok results and is easy enough to find a external battery for. Watched so so many you tube videos on this topic but people all ways skip over how they supply the power to the booster with a quick just plug a lipo into it with a cheap lead of ebay ect ect, but this is the hard bit i want to know. cheers guys

Im using a hawking and a battery pack I picked up off Amazon. Works good.

I have used a TP-Link TL-WA830RE 300Mbps Wireless N Range Extender which needed 9v DC. I supply this from a small 12v lead acid battery with a drop down convertor like LM2596 DC-DC Switching Adjustable Step Down Voltage Regulator Buck Converter and a 2.5mm dc socket.
