Drop Pins

I had an encounter with a tree (great lesson learned about situational awareness) and my gimbal separated with no damage other than the ribbons detaching and the drop pins. When putting it back on it seems as if the drop pins are not very secure at all, very slight pull on it releases. I added the zip ties to the other two mounts as a precaution but I am wondering, are the locking pieces for the pins meant to be for a one time use? It just seems way to easy to release the pins.

I think that's how DJI meant for them to be used. But, some people do remove and reuse them (like this). Yours sound like they are damaged though. I'd replace them if I was you.

Yeah I think so. I just used a new set and they definitely click into place and hold much better. Thanks.
