Dronexpert ribbon cable failure

    When I first received my Dronexpert gimbal I was a bit concerned over the fragile design. Especially worrisome was the soft material used for many of the parts, and the ribbon cable connection to the very light plastic plug that connects to the camera.

    Over the last couple of weeks I have had intermittent episodes where the cameras would not power up, or would switch on and off. I would wiggle the plug and it would start up,again. Sometimes it would happen mid flight.

    A few days ago the camera would not start. I wiggled the cable to no avail.

    I unplugged the cable from the camera. It feels as if the ribbon cable has broken internally; it feels much too flexible.

    I've attempted to email Dronexpert but it appears their website and/or mail server must be down. The mail comes back repeatedly. I cannot contact them via Facebook either. I don't want to mend the entire gimbal back, I just need a new ribbon cable. I am skilled enough to,replace it. I don't want to deal with the time and cost, the hassles of shipping it back to Europe
