Dronexpert quick release

Re: Dronexpert quick release

Unproven & very expensive. Approx $378 (US) for the base, another $50 for correct gimbal adapter, + gimbal, + camera. You are well over $1000 with a GoPro and a Zenmuse. It you crash, you risk the loss of both AND the adapter!

Re: Dronexpert quick release

They have a very interesting product. a Little early to tell. I also think the price is too high. But they know people will still buy it :\

Re: Dronexpert quick release

If it would be half price i may consider it.
I have a other option.
Bought a broken gimbal/camera with ripped ribbon from someone that i intend to fix with DIY parts.
The gimbal is toast but if i can manage to repair the camera feed with wires then a fixed camera can be used to fly around and the gimbal when filming stuff.
For FPV it would be sufficient i guess.
Anyway a nice project for the cold days to come.

Re: Dronexpert quick release

This seems great, specially when you can still see all features on app like battery life, sattelites and all without a camera/gimbal attached.

Re: Dronexpert quick release

Little pricey for sure. But not something I would rule out. If I damaged a V+ camera/gimbal I would rather spend the money on this. Isn't a GoPro 3 basic camera only $200?

^ EDIT: looks like the 1080-60 might be $300.00

Assuming it works well of course with the 7th channel.
