We launched the drone from our boat and engaged follow me mode. it followed when we were cruising abut 5 mph but when we accelerated to about 20 we left it behind. it didn't seem to want to catch up, just hovered in the same place until we got back to it. We would like to use it for wake board videos and need to go 20-25 MPH. Any ideas?

    thanks,

    Clint

When using Follow Me, the Phantom will only reach a maximum of 22 MPH. You'll need to ensure you're moving slower than that so it can keep up.

Thanks. I can deal with 22 MPH. I lost it going much slower, maybe 10-15 mph.

Perhaps it was flying into a headwind?

That's a big problem for trying to use "follow me" to video motorcycle rides as I was hoping to.

Swarm didn't have any trouble keeping up with the sail boat at 5knots :D

I don't think I exceeded 22 mph and there wasn't a headwind. maybe I took off too fast? The Mastercraft accelerates pretty quickly. I'll see if I can sneak up on 22 mph.
