I was able to update my remote software easily through my tablet. I down loaded the update to my memory card and put it in my drone to update drone and batteries. But it did not do the whole beeping and light flashing thing for more than like 5 seconds is that normal? Either way when I go and try to fly it pops up that my drone and batteries need updating. But yet the updates about cheaper batteries not working has taken affect when I use my cheaper battery. So how does one look to see what software is in the drone? I looked at the download files to see if the success file was there and it was not. I have tried to download the software a few times no and still says needs updating. Any help if appreciated.

You can find the installed firmware versions in the "General Settings" --> "About" section of DJI GO. Try installing the firmware exactly like this.
