Drone rescue in crater

    Mistakes were made. (I was trying to follow a bird :)

    Glad I had a couple of friends willing to help me get it out. Here is the video

    That is a very cool video. First thing I thought of was protecting my line against the rock edge, then I saw what you did. Again....very cool.

    oh I know I was dumb. It was a couple of bad decisions followed by a moment of inattention.

    yes, it mostly still works. I have full movement in the Gimbal and it will record video but it wont transmit the FPV video to my phone. it just says no image transmission.

    Good job, guys. Technically, that "crater" looks more like the roof collapse over a lava tube. I envy your visit into it.

    I hear a drone crash on a roof can cause all sorts of damage, like collapsing it. :D

    Yes it is a collapsed lava tube. I just call it a crater due to the name of the place being Jordan Craters. It is a cool place
