Drone over PNC Park....

He "thought it would be fun". Its idiots like these that are going to ruin it for everyone. R/C planes could record video, but its always been known you DON'T FREAKING FLY OVER PEOPLE or populated areas. Someone needs to take his drone and smash it to bits. I was even more ticked off to see it was a DJI Phantom Vision.

Technically, there is nothing anyone can do anything about it.
A ballpark is fair game, pardon the pun.
Since he was flying LOS, he'd have to keep it visible at all times.
At 70 meters, I can't see my bird.
So if I can't see it, how would the people in the park see it?
If it's such a big issue over safety, then why are blimps allowed to fly overhead during a game?

BTW, did y'all note the statement the FAA had?
Commercial usage requires a COA and a license.
HORSEHOCkEY!

Just more bullying tactics to try and keep cameras out of the sky.

Ya, it's a big deal till they (Pirates) start flying their own drones, over the players and crowds.
And agree, a big blimp will do more damage in a emergency than a small quad.
