Something to watch as a developer is wanting to sell a 1 oz gps, bluetooth, cellular tracker. Looks promising at $99 with 1 yr data.

What is the weight of the one folks typically use?

The commonly used GPS trackers are between about 12 to 42 grams. The Ping tracker is 28 grams.

I looked at ping when I purchased my Marco Polo, it wasn't out then as now. I would have purchased it if you buy the life time data plan. Which is why I like my Marci polo you buy it once and your done. Not paying every year. I've played hide and seek with my grand kids and it works very well as long as your within 2 miles.
