Hi, I am new here and have read quite a bit through here, which has helped me a lot to learn about the quadcopter. However, I couldn't find any topics about my main issue. Every time I turn on my remote and then the drone, it can't ever connect with the remote, at least that is what it seems like. The remote light stays on red and the drone light flashes yellow. From researching it, it seems I need to pair them somehow. Is this correct? If so, what is the best way to go about that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Look under the main body of the Phantom, there is a small LED, it will probably be red if there is no connection.

Make sure your RC transmitter is on

Press and hold the LED in for a couple of seconds (its a button as well as a LED), it will flash

Release and it should turn green.

If it doesn't turn green, either the transmitter or receiver is faulty.
