Downgrading fw AC/RC p3p

Hi all

I have a p3 professional which is running FW AC 1.8.80/RC 1.6/ DJI go app 3.0 ios

I am wanting to downgrade both AC/RC fw to previous versions- AC 1.7.60/RC 1.5.80

I am able to downgrade the RC fw to 1.5.80 with no issues through the dji go app

But when i try to downgrade the AC fw from 1.8.80 to 1.7.60 using sd card method its unsuccessful, the txt file says that the 1.8.80 fw is not downgradable to the previous 1.7.60.

has anyone downgraded from 1.8.80 to 1.7.60 successfully ? and if so how ?

I'm on 1.8 and cannot downgrade to 1.7 either. It's not possible.

Unless you had previously been on 1.9, you should be able to go from 1.8 to 1.7. The 1.8 release notes even say it's okay.
If you have already been on 1.9, well then 1.8 is the lowest you can go.

If you ahve already tried the standard methods, maybe try to do it this way:
