Hi everyone, so awhile back I had made a post about how my Phantom 2 had gotten into a crash and I was trying to fix it (Link here:http://www.phantompilots.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32355).

So after clearing my busy schedule I have now the time to work on it. When I was working on it I had found the culprit to be one of the motors that had burnt out (did terrible smell), however awhile back I had heard that some unites had gotten incorrect ESC's that were causing problems with the new unites that have the new motors (mine are the v2 motors). My problem right now is that I don't know if my ESC's are a the wrong ones, and if so how easy is it to replace?

Here is some photo's of the specific ESC that was with the failed motor:

Also, where do I go to buy new Motors/ESC's?

Thanks!

They look like the wrong ESCs for the new motors. You need the v2.1 ESCs. You can identify the correct ESCs by a 2.1 on the label plus a yellow stripe on the top of the large electrolytic capacitors.
