Does installing the gimbal guard like this, void the warranty?
I just got my P3P back from DJI for a warranty repair and it made no difference. It went there for a GPS issue.

If you're concerned, remove it and install the OE back.
I think that if your issue was with the gimbal, I'd take the few minutes and remove it. The first time I sent my AC to DJI was for a crash that tore the camera off and damaged one of the antennas in the legs. They charged me to fix it but they replaced the entire camera/gimbal assembly. You'd lose your gimbal guard if they did that for you.
