Ihave a parrot 2, it can detect my body position, and no matter which direction it is facing, it if I steer it straight it will go away from me, no matter what direction it's facing if I turn it right, it goes right.

    They call it absolute mode.

Willl the PHantom do that also?

Course lock mode in the phantom is similar.
As I understand it, when you switch to course lock mode, the bird assumes the nose of the bird as forward.
So moving the stick left or right makes the bird go left or right.
If you have it facing you, move the stick right, it moves to your left.
There are a couple of videos on this on youtube.
