Does temperature affect video transmission or GPS?

Yesterday was a 7 on the kp index. That will affect gps and also affect other types of radio transmissions. I have not had enough experience, or read enough on Light Bridge, but heat and especially humidity absolutely affect other fpv transmissions. I am sure there are no humidity problems (cough, cough) in Houston

Thanks everyone, never guessed the iPad was that susceptible to heat but makes sense. I have the bit rate of video transmission at the lowest possible, that didn't help, but it does seem to help at greater distances.

I am at least glad to know it's the iPad mini, was beginning to think my new toy was a 9 month a year hobby.
