Does Phantom Battery firmware 2.0 exist?

When I connect my Phantom 2 to DJI Assistant 3.6, all three of my Phantom 2 batteries show I have battery Firmware 1.6.0.0 installed and there are no updates. However, I’ve seen threads on this forum talking about a version 2.0 battery.

• Is there a Phantom battery 2.0, if so, do you have a link for it?
• Is there Phantom battery firmware 2.0, if so, how do I install it?

I’m getting 2-5 minutes of flying time with my batteries after just 30-40 battery discharge cycles and that is why I am asking the questions. Note that I have cycled the batteries to 8% as DJI suggested after 20 flights.

You are saying because I have battery firmware 1.6.0.0 I have an old battery and it can't be upgraded, right?

The only way to install the latest battery firmware is to purchase a brand new battery, is that correct?

Yes that is what he is saying , your battery is not compatible with the upgrade.
