Do you like cars?

Where is your love?

  • With the Germans

  • I like the Italians

  • Nothing like American Muscle

  • A car is just a tool for me, I don't care what I (have to) drive

  • I don't have a car (but would like one)

  • I don't have a car (I don't need one, ever heard of the subway?)

Are the Phantom Pilots also car enthusiasts? :)

What do you drive? And if you have several cars, which do you drive most often (and why)?

The car scene is wonderful in SoCal.
It would be cool to combine cars and Phantoms for a meet.

I have 2 answers... LOL

I love American Muscle (arr arrr more power) but I drive a car that's practical and serves my needs rather than a muscle car (I'm also a truck guy though).

62 Ford Fairlane with late model running gear.
06 Pontiac GTO late model muscle-( the last one shipped to N.America, its really a Holden Morano, made in Australia for GM.)

Awesome response so far! Thanks for dropping in guys.

I sold myself short: I should have made this a picture cars thread! :)

Last weekend I met this awesome relaxed SoCal guy who was flirting with his date and driving his 1957 Porsche Speedster.

The cars are nice but I love meeting the owners behind them, in particular if the cars have work done to them.

Do we like cars?. Sure we do. We're just big kids anyway, right.?

Mine is a 1973 Pontiac Trans Am that I've had since new. Lots of memories in that ride. Faster than a speeding ticket. [emoji12]

I've got a '79 Volvo 242 that I pulled out of a barn and has turned into a ground up build. Most of the major elements are there now, I'm just trying to nail the tune. Looking to make 400whp+ before the season ends this year. Engine is a fully built Volvo b230ft (engine that came in the volvo turbo wagons in the 90's). Transmission is a ford motorsports short ratio t5z, runs on megasquirt, HX35 turbo, almost everything else is custom made for the car. I have already been mentally story-boarding a video I want to make of it with drone footage lol.

Hey, very nice. I used to love my baby blue '63 Plymouth Fury II hard top. When you rolled all the windows down, it was so cool.

Sad I sold that solid steel beauty...
