Get your mind out of the gutter.

I have a question about how to attach the vTx to the Phantom, and therefore which way the antenna hangs down... Do you affix the Vtx facing straight back, where the antenna will be pointing straight down behind the gimbal.... or do you attach it to the Phantom sideways and then the antenna hangs off to the side?

I was just trying to determine what configuration would be best, trying to avoid getting a bad signal when returning home (as the gimbal blocks the antenna a bit, right?). If you hang it to the side, would you get better signal coming straight back.... I guess you would have blockage when flying to the side, as in if you hung it to the right side of P2, when you move from right-to-left, it would be blocked.

What's preferred? Sorry for poor explanation..

I have my vTx mounted so that the antenna points straight back, but the antenna (Spironet) is flexible, so I curve it so that the antenna is pointed down. I have had no issues with video dropping out, but I'm not into it to test the transmission limits either.
