Do you need your camera clip?

I have done about 60 flights and have never bothered putting the camera clip on since i took it off when new. Is it needed? what will happen if i dont use it?

It's used to protect the camera and keep it in place when not in use. The manual recommends using it when not flying. You risk damaging the camera or ribbon cable with it flopping around loosely.
