Do I swap my 300A controller for a 300B

I have read horror stories about the bad plastics in the 300B. My 300A is faulty but I think an HDMI module will fix it.
Do I buy the HDMI module or just swap out FOC?
I do plan on fitting my DBS mod soon.

If your remote is faulty it needs to be sent for repair.

Many people say the 300B has very brittle plastics. Not good when you try taking it apart to instal the DBS mod.

I saw a lot more but I suppose it is still only a small fraction of the number sold.
