DId a short flight last evening right about sunset time. Took off and within a few seconds I had about a dozen bats flying around the Phantom. When I went higher they stopped but when coming back down they reappeared again. They would fly at the drone but did not hit it. I live ina rural area and have seen bats flying around but never that many in one spot. Anyone else ever have this happen? Is it the noise or the ultrasonic ping from the VPS that attractes them?

I know when I practice with my Kodo (a mini quad), hummingbirds dive bomb the thing like crazy. They never hit it either...

Interesting. I've flown in the evening and noticed bats in the area (always do) but haven't noticed any swarming or additional animals in the area. Thank goodness they are amazing pilots with pin-point accuracy. I just hope the VPS doesn't make their built-in radar go all whanky or anything LOL!

Will be interesting to notice if you tell any difference with and w/o VPS enabled.
