What changed?
 
Well, I was thinking if someone is going to purchase a Phantom 3 and the frame starts to crack. Are they going to be out of luck?
 
I bought one last moth. After the 7th flight I noticed cracks on the back arms close to the motors. I took it back to Best Buy and they say they couldn't do nothing about it.
 
That makes sense. Best Buy is not responsible for fixing cracked shells. Contact DJI and they will replace the shell for free.
 
Well, they don't make special rules for first time buyers. They treat everyone the same.
 
Yes -- if it cracked from normal usage. You should call DJI tomorrow.
 
DJI's refund policy is 7 business days.

"When not being used, a manufacturing defect of the product was found within 7 working days from receiving the product."

It sounds like you used the product though.
 
Anyway it sucks to be stuck with a drone that I can't use and is going to take a while to repair, if they repair it. It was expensive to go trough all that. That just my personal opinion.
