this a cool free download on the DJI developer's site called DJI Simulator. It's like the flight simluator on the IOS app but you can use it with 3rd party SDK apps.
Plug the bird to your PC with USB cable, power on remote and load app of choice. control the bird with the sticks or with the app.. great way to test third party app in the safety of your own home when it's raining outside.
