Just to confirm,

It is okay to upgrade the Firmware to the latest release though we don't have the updated DJI Go App yet. Everything work fine, we will just not be taking advantage of some of the new features?

Will the remote update okay through DJI Pilot? Might have to do it the old school way if not?

I think I am the only one who has never been prompted to update my Phantom since day one. So this is a bit new to me.

No .. not through the app but later versions will go that way in future.
