I don't think I've seen this discussed before.

I figured out today that the DJI pilot app is draining my phone battery after I am done flying. I flew with my phone last night, fully charged when I slept, then noticed today excessive batter use with very little use of my phone. As I scrolled through my battery utilization, DJI Pilot accounted for 1 h 6 s of CPU total, and 10h 30m 51s of GPS. I hit force stop, and my batter usage immediately leveled off. I did not use the Pilot app at all during this time period.

This is the second time that I noticed this happen since buying my Phantom. As they are cleaning the app, they need to address this as well. It should not be accessing the GPS when it is in the background.

Anybody else notice this?

You have to close the app, otherwise it will constantly try & connect with a phantom & drain the battery.
