    Adam,

Can you please also post an update on exactly what this version fixes? Was it strictly compass related or are there other fixes and/or improvements?

In the Assistant software version 2.02, tools page, hover the mouse over the new "MOD" boxes. A text description pops up. Here it explains how to de-gauss the compass by orbitting a magnet around the compass module in both a horizontal and vertical plane. Hope this helps those with compass problems. Luv Bez xxxxx

I'm primarily a Mac user, so updating might be a bit of a hassle.
(wonder if they ever plan Mac support?).

But my Phantom appears to be running ok out of the box.
so is it still necessary to do the update?

on a similar note, I've yet to try the IOC switch.
.the DJI video mentions that it needs to be connected to a computer to enable it??

The software update is only for the assistant, so, if you are running fine don't worry about it. Try to get a copy of Windows and install it using bootcamp, which is what I'm doing on my MacBook Pro. You'll need it to enable IOC and make other changes.
