Hi

I just finished to install my zunmuse h3-2d on my 1.2v phantom including the motherboard upgrade .
updated all firmware and been ask to re-calibrate my gps and compass .
I remember the first calibrate i did when i just got it and i remember some angels that might damage the gimbal .
Is That safe to implement calibration process while the gimbal is powered up ?????
should i unplug or remove the gimbal while calibrating my phantom ?
how can i disable my gimbal if would like to fly without camera ?

Thanks

Yup - Perfectly safe. The gimbal is designed to go into hibernation mode if external forces act on it that are outside of it's normal working parameters.
When you do the horizontal circle the gimbal will stay powered up but when you do the vertical bit of the dance the H3-2D will shut down. Just complete the dance, calibrate the compass then power cycle the Phantom to bring your Zenmuse back 'online'

Great , I will ry that .
Thanks
Can fly my gimbal without the gopro on it ? or disable the gimbal somehow in order to gain some fly time when i am not shooting video ?

Thx
