Dji Phantom 3 Intelligent Flight Battery issue

When I check the battery performance in the Dji go app, the total capacity
is only 4298mah but when I received it, it could hold up to 4480mah as it
should do. Also when the LED's on the battery stop flashing, it has only been loaded to 98%. When it comes to flight time, every second counts.

An older battery often won't perform like a new one.

What you are seeing is normal battery wear. The capacity will drop over time depending on the amount it is used and the number of full power cycles it goes through. Not sure but the 98% you are seeing may be due to the wear issue. I'm not sure what the system uses to determine battery strength.

When you reach a capacity degradation by 10%, it may be a time to go for deep discharge cycle.
