The gimbal dial for the camera to go downwards it stops.
On the bottom of the gimbal is it normal for it to be hot?
any help on this would appreciate ..

It may be nothing, my gimbal does not do it as loud as yours but mine makes the same sound. Where did you buy from?

Wow, can u replace it? It sounds like an attenuation frequency issue, meaning, sounds like it's vibrating at a speed that then makes that high pitched sound, something through the magnesium core maybe? If it could be returned, I'd kinda slap it it hit it, not too hard, just hard enough to see if it's due to a variance in tolerances, like a spacing issue.

Slap it I'll think about it..
I brought it from a shop in Greece
He is a retailer,I'm waiting for his reply from dji

Lol, you know, tap it, hard tap! See if it's just being cranky and needs to be tuned up! Lol of course I'm sure you doubt as I do it's a solid fix, but stranger things have happened

Sim597 just did it ,stopped for some time then started again screaming.....I'm thinking hitting it with a hammer,,it's also hot is it natural for the gimbal to be hot?

Apple is great!

Just call them and shouldnt be a prblm

They will send you a return fedex thingy, paste it on the box

Tell them you want an exchange

And once you ship it, then it gets scanned and then fedex sends a ping to apple server,

You get it ordered automaticaly!

gimbal motors should not be hot they can burn out that whiiiinnnniinnggg noise is from gimbal over load.

Hold it by hand when powered but rotors not started, twist it flip it like its flying hard.. work it.. it should wear in and should stop after its been done a few times..
if not then you know its a problem. but ive had a few like this and all fine now

Tighten all the screws that's what dji told me to do and yes my issue is over!
Silverwingflinx on live chat with dji
They said its normal for the gimbal
To be hot..
Dji emailed my dealer here in Greece that if I wanted a replacement and I said for the time being I have no issues and I don't want a replacement..
I wasn't expecting a fast response from dji Germany for there support and my dealer here in Greece
Multicopter mr Xristos
And I'm amazed after all this..
I'm happy now flying my phantom 4
Thanks to all of you for your replies
and it's good to have other people
that understand!

So by tightening the gimbal screws it stopped all the noise from the gimbal? Can you maybe post a video of the difference?

I will upload a video with my gimbal clear of noiz actually 3 screws needed a bit of tightening..
and that was it.if Chris digata has results as he posted further up from his experience then there you have it as well from him also.
DJI USA and DJI EUROPE said the same thing tighten the screws and the problem will be solved and that's what happened to me..
