Hi.

I've seen these little tiny flying quads on eBay that are controllable with an iPhone app.

I was wondering if they are any good for the less than £100 price tag that they are...?

We have the Hubsan X4 H107C - full HD video for under £50 if you look around. They are fully fledged quadcopters. If you want to know why you will instantly crash your Phantom in manual mode, then get one of these. :D However after hours of practice we managed to get a flight that didn't end in a crash and burn, and a flight video that wasn't quite a "Blair Witch Project" viewing experience. I think every Phantom owner should get one of these, just to fully appreciate the superb handling and flight technology we all enjoy.

cx10 , various Hubsan Quads. You should always buy a cheaper toy to play with first.

Take care, Fly safe!

J Dot,
Have you found any small unit that can REALLY be flown indoors without having a masters degree in "finger control" on the levers?
Nice bunch of "toys."
.
.
David DJI H,
Yes I have a Hubsan X4 H107D that is a ***** to fly. I would really like to see an expert get this thing up in the air, fly around a little, and land. It has a mind of its own.

The WL TOYS V222 is my favorite, perfect for indoor use,
They all will take some getting used to, but stay awAy from the micro
Stuff, your breath can cause them to move, stick with mini ( not micro )
The WLToys V222:
Has several attachments to add to the fun
1) camera
2) missle launcher
3) bubble blower
4) hook & Basker
5) water canon
6) projector
I would recommend bying these options
1) 5-1 charging port ( charge 5 batts at once )
2) 5 pack batteries
3) USA CHARGER
then whatever attachments you want?
This quad performs tricks ( flips, barrel rolls )
And has several GAIN OPTIONS, lower gains beginner,
Higher gains advanced fliers!
( around $100 ) only camera and without other attachments
( $70 quad, $20 batteries, $5 charger, $3 5-1 cord )
Attachments are about $8 each, camera is $22 )
I like this model so much, I have 3 here is another pic, with
Camera, missle launcher, and bubble attachments:

I also like the NINE EAGLES GALAXY VISITOR 2:
It has IOC ( intelligent orientation control )
In other words, no matter which dirrection craft
Is facing, you push forward, the craft goes AWAY from
You, you pull back, it flies twords you, it has a RTH ( return home feature )
As well, uses the trans for home position!
( around $200 ) no flips, tricks, only flying! But flies beautifully

The scorpion SUCKS! Don't waste your money!

I have five Hubsan X4 micros... I'm also looking at building another...

I LOVE the Hubsan micros... :D

I filmed this with my Hubsan without FPV, it was a bit hit and miss!

You filmed that with a Hubsan X4 H107C? Pretty impressive. Nice job keeping it steady in the air...
