DJI Hard Case Backpack....Battery Question

Hey all,

Well I have the DJI Hardcase backpack Phantom 3A and it only holds 3 batteries and I would like to get a 4th battery.

So my question is it safe to keep a 4th battery in the bird itself?

Yes, just make sure the battery is powered down.

Yes. That's how DJI shipped it to you, so they must think it's safe.

I use to think so, however after I had a battery swell to the point I had to pry it from compartment I changed my opinion. I never ever leave a battery in now.

In my case I never determined the actual cause for the event, but I won't chance it again.

I have one in the p3p and three in the case. I do make sure they sit at 50% or 60% if I'm not planing to fly for a few days.
