DJI Go Editor Not Working on iPad, works on iPhone

I'm unable to get to the Editor on my iPad, but I can do so on my iPhone. However, since I typically fly using the iPad, any video that I take there is not accessible to the iPhone. On the iPad, I can see the movies that I've taken, I can cut them using that tool, but after saving, when I select the saved version of the video and tap "Creat Movie", my iPad just locks up for about 1 minute and then seems to log out of DJI Go. Any ideas? Another option would be to transfer videos from the iPad or the SD card to my iPhone, but I don't know how to do that.

Try a short duration clip ( say 5 sec) to see if that works.
 
Thanks alok. I did, using a 13 second clip. It works OK on the iPhone, still nothing on iPad. I also tried deleting and then reinstalling the app, and then rebooting the iPad. Still no luck. And, my iPad is 2 releases above the minimum operating system that the app says it needs. Sigh . . . I like the background music clips that the editor can provide. But beyond that, I'm really good with iMovie, so that'll be my fallback.
