DJI GO, can I put Google maps on it?

    Hi,

    As a new arrival here I have a question (please).

    On the DJI GO display there is a the camera view and a sort of MAP view window. Is it possible to get any form of my locality into that MAP window, say google maps or something else? If so how do I do it please?

    If you have an internet connection the map will auto refresh. You will see your home point and position of AC. If you wont have mobile data or wifi available just scroll to where you plan to fly on the map before you head out.

    Sky Pirate, if you don't have an Internet connection on your mobile device while you're out flying, you'll need to cache the maps in a location where you have an Internet connection. If using an Apple device, you'll need to enable the following setting in DJI GO before caching the maps:

    DJI-GO-Cache-Map-In-The-Background.PNG

    Then, cache the maps like this:
