DJI: "because you love flyaways, we brought it to the 450"

    It actually makes great sense; if your phantom flies away, you buy another. Well for those who have 450s and they never fly away, DJI is missing out on your extra fly away business. Not anymore. Now they have they new DT7/DR16 fly away TX/RX for the 450. No longer will the 450 folks be forced to sit around and read posts about Phantom fly aways, now they can write post about 450 fly aways!!!!!

    Is that the same receiver as they started putting in the Phantom later? It's also interesting that the model number is "DT16"...possibly capable of doing more channels that the current 7 from that Tx?

    The rx can do 16 channels. The tx cannot.

    Yeah that's what I was guessing, wondering if there's a new Tx in the works.

    Also curious if the guts of that Rx are Futaba-influenced (like the receiver/controller for the A2).
