DJI batteries on amazon for 100.00 - will DJI warranty if not purchased from authorized reseller?

The seller on amazon is not on the list. I purposefully purchased my P3A from an authorized reseller as I'd read about their change in policy effective 8/2016. Now of course I want a second battery, especially since my battery is indicating major deviations in Cell 3 and I don't want to be without while I RMA it.

Surely if the battery is sold as new and is a DJI serial number ... then warranty could be valid ? AS far as I understood - it was the validity of Serial Number and date of purchase that was deciding factor.

But like repairing your car ... unauthorised service uses factory part ... warranty of that part still falls on factory eventually down the line.
