Dji Assistant for ios help

I've always used the computer, but since someone stated yesterday that you could adjust battery limits only in the ios app, I decided to fire her up. Phantom 2 vision + updated to 3.06. App is up to date as well. I can't seem to get the app to see the phantom. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Any thoughts on how to remedy? I've power cycled and restarted phone etc.

The Assistant app requires you to have the BTU (Bluetooth module) connected to your Phantom, and I'm not sure that's compatible with the P2V/P2V+
