It is amazing. Besides loosing the quad, they're guilty of a Felony for taking contraban onto prison property.
It just goes to show that you can be incredibly stupid, and can still operate one of these amazing devices.

There's enough unnecessary and unfounded negative public impression about "drones" as it is, without bad publicity like this. This is exactly the type of example the anti-drone lobby will use to create fear-based legislation.
 
These guys are in prison because they are idiots in the first place and it seems there idiot mates felt lonely outside the walls and wanted to get inside too. This has no repercussions to UAV or drone use in general its just a tool and if used by a proper tool :mrgreen: they will get themselves in trouble as shown in this example.
