These are some pics of my DIY OSD for Fat Shark Goggles. It will show you what your LED is saying when you have your goggles on!

First you'll need to get a cheap fiber optic lamp and pull out one thread!

Then poke a small hole on the bottom of your LED and stick one end of fiber optic thread in the hole and run the other end to the front of your camera, tape excess tread to bottom of Phantom!

At the front you can bend the end of thread so it will point right into cam I used tweezers to do this and then put tap around the rim of camera to hold thread in place!

Also this is a pic to show how you can mount your compass if you install skids for your unit, Notice I cut the leg the compass was mounted on and left it in place!

And this is just another front view and top view of my Phantom.

Yeah, that is a cool mod that has been posted before. Still, if you try a true OSD like the iOSDmini, just knowing what color the LED is seems pretty primitive.

Much nicer to see how many sats are locked, voltage of the battery, height. distance and direction to Home Point.

But hey, if you are happy, that is all that matters.

I'm about to do the same with mine.
