Surprisingly, there is little information on this site about what to do for long distance runs. Or at least I cant find it. In another thread Tony at FPVLR posted this: Please share your tricks to make long runs including everything from weather to where to stand to how you keep your particular antenna oriented towards the bird. What elevation, over water, fresh batteries?, etc. I know there is a ton of knowledge on here but I just don't read about it. I am currently bouncing off 7500' mark (1.4 miles) with a simple FPVLR Stage 2 kit and a booster app (which I don't think is doing much). I am not standing on a hill or any place ideal to do this. Just trying to get to a spot without trees in the way. So what have you found to work?
